Stuart McLeod began his career in environmental education, thereafter working in a variety of local government and voluntary sector roles to improve public access to urban greenspace and the wider countryside. In 2005, he was appointed as Project Manager of the HLF-funded Mosaic Partnership.
He joined HLF in 2007, working initially as Development Manager in the London team, before joining the South East England team in July 2009.
He grew up in Buckinghamshire and now lives in Gillingham, Kent.
